Safeguarding is central to the way we work. Our approach reflects Ofsted and Department for Education expectations and is designed to protect every learner throughout their experience with Teach Vocation.

What to do if you are concerned
Recognise. Respond. Report.
Everyone has a responsibility to safeguard children, young people and adults at risk. If something does not feel right, it is always better to report a concern than to ignore it.
Recognise
- Changes in behaviour or wellbeing.
- Signs of abuse, neglect or exploitation.
- Concerns raised by a learner or another person.
Respond
- Listen carefully and remain calm.
- Take concerns seriously.
- Never promise confidentiality.
Report
- Report concerns immediately to the safeguarding team.
- Record factual information only.
- Contact emergency services if someone is in immediate danger.

Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. Every member of our team receives safeguarding training appropriate to their role and is expected to act whenever they have a concern.
